Merritt Island, FL – All Points is proud to be a sponsor for the newest high school robotics lab in Florida! The FIRST ® Robotics Team 801 Horsepower broke ground recently on a new robotics lab at Edgewood Jr/Sr High School in Merritt Island, Florida. The 2,800 square foot facility, expected to open in April 2025, will be one of only five such labs in the state of Florida, and will be available to all area robotics teams. The lab will provide build space, advanced fabrication tools, classroom space, and practice areas to give high school students hands on experience and mentoring of younger students in STEM fields.
The new building is funded by the state of Florida (through sponsorship by State Representative Randy Fine), the Brevard County School Board, and donations from area companies like All Points, W&J Construction, Jacobs Technologies, Delaware North, and many others.
